May 13, 1959 she received the David di Donatello Award (Italy) for "The Best Foreign Actress in 1958" in "The Prince and The Showgirl".
It was given to her at the Italian Cultural Institute, New York City (686 Park Avenue). 400 people attended to the celebration, including Anna Magnani, one of the bigger Italian movie star.
