At the end of 1952, Marilyn moved in a room at the third floor, when the lease for the house she had rented with Joe DiMaggio ended.

DiMaggio spent Christmas with her; he had brought a Christmas tree, some decoration, some champagne and had made a fire in the chimney.

Later Marilyn would confide that it was the most beautiful Christmas of her life.

March 9, 1953, she was still living there when Photoplay magazine organized a prize-giving for the "Fastest Rising Star of 1952" in her honor. The party took place in the Crystal Room.

Beginning of 1954 : with DiMaggio, they lived there shortly after their wedding, waiting for the end of the work in the North Palm Drive house.
