Story
Montgomery strated in Broadway at the age of 14.
Aged 19 in 1939, he played with the Lunts, a Broadwat theater family, who adopted him.
In Hollywood, he made him known by playing the character of the outsider in "A Place in the Sun" (Paramount, 1951)
.
He also played in "From Here to Eternity" in 1953 : 
In 1956, a serious crash car left him disfugured, physically and psychologically.
On September 21st 1959, he went with Marilyn at the Yves Montand one-man-show premiere at the Henry Miller Theater, Broadway :
1960 : he played in "Judgement at Nuremberg".
He played with Marilyn in "The misfits" (1961) and they would become friends since that time.

On January 31st 1961, premiere of "The misfits" athe Capitol Theater, Broadway :
During the shooting, he stayed in his quarters with his press agent Harry Mines, and his makeup man and companion, Frank LaRue.He died of a heart attack in 1966, aged 46, overused by alcohol and drugs.
