Darrel Francis Gates

Date of death : April 16,  2010, California.

In 1960 he belonged to the security crew of the Democrat Convention, to which John and Robert Kennedy attended, under William Parker's command.

He was posted in June 1963, by William Parker, after the resignation from Captain James Hamilton, head of the intelligence bureau in Los Angeles.

He would become Chief of the LAPD from March 28th 1978 until June 1992.
