GIESLER Jerry

 

Date of birth : November 2nd 1886, Iowa.

Date of death : January 1st 1962, Beverly Hills.

Story

Marilyn hired him in 1954, for her divorce with DiMaggio.

He had the reputation to solve efficiently the stars problems. He fought for Charlie Chaplin, Errol Flynn, Lana Turner, Bugsy Siegel (agangster) and Robert Mitchum. They were all acquitted except in 1949, when he didn"t manage to cancel Robert Mitchum's conviction for holding marijuana, after this one had gone to jail.

On October 6th 1954, in his statment to the press about the reasons of her client's divorce, he talked about a "career gap" and asserted that the divorce  would be grantedfor the usual reasons of mental cruely.

Marilyn left the marital home with a dark attitude, at Giesler's arm.
