Milton Greene had rented her a suite where she lived until her move in at the Waldorf Astoria, in April 1955.

 

In 1955, this hotel was also the temporary residence of Carson McCullers, author of "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter", "Reflections in a Golden Eye" and other novels.
