Story

There are 2 versions of the meeting with Marilyn :

          - he orchestrated a higher bid between Howard Hughes and Ben Lyon, one of the heads of the Fox. He said having taking part in Norma Jeane pseudonym's choice.

          - Emmeline Snively, manager of the Blue Book Modeling Agency, would have called Lipton's immediate superior, who would have introduced the starlet to Lipton (favorite version of Fred Lawrence Guiles).

 
Marilyn signed her first contract with the  Fox on July 23rd 1946.

 With him, she spent a year at the Fox, 6 months at the Columbia, then a year or two without any contract, until her meeting with Johnny Hyde.
