Date of death : March 6, 1961, Brooklyn.
Mother of Arthur Miller.
She grew up in the German Jewishs ghetto in Harlem, north of Manahattan. She studied enough to be able to become a teacher.
She married Isadore on December 31, 1910, in New York.
Arthur would describe her as a true Jewish mother, loving her children and dominating her husband.

She learned Marilyn the Jewish cooking rudiments, including the bortsch, the chicken soup with unleavened bread dumplings and the liver émincé.
She died on March 6, 1961 at the Brooklyn Jewish Hospital, from a heart attack.
Marilyn attended her funeral on March 8th 1961, despite her separation with Arthur and her latest outing from the hospital:
