Norwalk State Hospital

Address : 11400 S.Norwalk Boulevard, Norwalk.

 

Marilyn's grand-mother, Della Mae was transfered there after a nervous breakdown, and died there of a heart attack less than 3 weeks later, on August 23, 1927.

In December 1934, Gladys Baker, her mother, was hospitalized there for a nervous breakdown; except a short period when she lived with her daughter, she stayed there until 1938, when she was transfered to the Agnew State Asylum.
