PALM SPRINGS

 
Tourist center located in the desert; for decades, it's the favourite escapade place of the great Hollywood figures.

It was at the Racquet Club Resort Hotel (2743 North Indian Canyon Drive), in 1949, that Johnny Hyde saw Marilyn for the first time. It was in the same hotel that he had a heart attack on December 17th 1950.

In January 1954 Marilyn and Joe DiMaggio spent there the 2 first weeks of their honeymoon, in a chalet lent by Marilyn's lawyer.

 

In 1962, Marilyn and John Kennedy would have spent a week-end at Bing Crosby's place.
