Link with Marilyn

On April 28th 1952 he removed Marilyn's appendix at the Cedars of Lebanon Hospital.

Her gynecologist, Leon Krohn, was present during the surgery.

Before the surgery, Marilyn who was convinced that this surgery could compromise her ability to have children, scotched on her stomach a pathetic message in which she asked him to be extremely careful :

"Dear Doctor Rabwin

Cut as little as possible I know it seems vain but that doesn't really enter in to it . The fact I'm a woman is important and means much to me Please I can't ask you enough what you can. Im in your hand.
You have children and you must know what it means. Please Dr Rabwin. I know somehow you will. Thank you thank you thank you. For Gods sakes. Dear Doctor no ovaries removed Please again do whatever you can to prevent large scars. Thanking you with all my heart".
