She was a very helpful friend to Marilyn; she attended her wedding with Miller in July 1956 :
Shortly after, she accompanied them in England for the shooting of "The Prince and the Showgirl" (1957) and earned 200$ a week for a role as female companion and private secretary :
She turned out to be a very efficient help : enlightened by her experience as a social worker in psychiatry, she thought that Marilyn's constant need was to analyze what she hadn't yet manage to do.
