Story
February 4, 1939, wedding with Nancy Barbato in Jersey City
His agent was Hank Sanicola.
During all this time he was also one of the artists whose records had the biggest success (he was Marilyn's favourite singer) and a regular of the Grammy Awards.
With Marilyn, they probably met at the beginning of the 50's, through Joe DiMaggio, Sinatra's big friend; but many biographers claim that they were introduced to each other on July 15, 1953 at the premiere of "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" or at the Fox, end of 1953, while the studio was trying to convince Marilyn to play opposite Sinatra in "Pink Tights".
This project arrived at the wrong time : Marilyn began to show independence and refused the projects that didn't suit her.
At that time, Sinatra often went to Spain to see Ava Gardner, with who he had a love affair :
The rumors of a love affair between them started at the end of 1954, just after that Marilyn had decided to divorce DiMaggio.
It was at that time that Sinatra helped DiMaggio who wanted to surprise Marilyn during the "Raid
on the wrong door"; they didn't manage to trap Marilyn, but they ended in court (

;
), sued for libel (they fell out shortly after).

After having moved in New York City in 1955, Marilyn celebrated the setting up of the Marilyn Monroe Productions, by taking her friends to see Sinatra singing at the Copacabana Club, where he performed.
On January 11, 1955, he attended Sammy Davis Jr's show at Ciro's :
.
After having married Arthur Miller and renegotiated her contract with the Fox,
it was suggested to her to work with Sinatra on many movie
projects, including "Some Came Running" (1958) and "Can-Can" (1960).
Those projects didn't materialize. Sinatra ended the next
collaboration because he hadn't get on with Billy Wilder for one of the masculine leading role in "Some Like it Hot".

With Robert Kennedy in 1961 :
In 1961 when Marilyn moved again in Los Angeles, she stayed for a short time at his home, while he was on tour in Europe.
This year, he offered her a pair of emerald earrings (she wore them at the Golden Globe Awards ceremony before giving them to Lena Pepitone).
In Los Angeles she often saw Peter Lawford, his wife Patricia and Sinatra.
Party at the Lawfords in 1961 :
Marilyn visited him at the studio where he was recording an album, in May 1961 :

On June 7, 1961, party for Dean Martin's birthday, at the Sand's, Las Vegas :
In August 1961, on the Romanoff's yacht, Newport Beach, Ca :
Several times, she went to Las Vegas to see Sinatra and Dean Martin who performed there.
They talked about different movie projects : one about the Rat Pack, and the remake of "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" (1945), into a musical.
Beginning of 1962 Peter Lawford announced him that John
Kennedy wouldn't
stay at his home, because of his contacts with the Mafia. Since this
time, Sinatra limited the contacts with Lawford : he refused to talk to him on phone, he eliminated him from his shows at
the Sand's, Las Vegas, and from 2 movies they had to shoot.
Many biographers, including those who looked more specially into Marilyn's death circumstances, had a lot to say on Sinatra's relations with the Mafia and on the fact that, during Marilyn's last years, he acted as an intermediary to the gangsters who were longing to sort the Kennedys out.
He had also purchased the Pucini restaurant in Los Angeles,
with Peter Lawford and Milton Rudin (
).
Sinatra's biographer, J.Randy Taraborrelli, reproduced the allegations
according to which Sinatra thought about marry Marilyn shortly
before her death, so that the people "leave her alone and leave her
breathing" so that she could relax. It was also Lena Pepitone's opinion.
But at that time, Sinatra dated the South-American dancer Juliet Prowse, with who he later got engaged
(
). He played with her in "Can-Can".
Those would-be wedding plans seems in
contradiction with the assertions of other biographers, according to
which Marilyn planned to remarry DiMaggio.
When Marilyn's body was discovered, some Sinatra's records were on the record player. DiMaggio banned Sinatra, and also all Marilyn's Hollywood friends, to attend the funeral.
In 1962, he shot an advert with Dean Martin and Peter Lawford, "Sargeants Three" :
In 1964, he organized a party in the honor of the composer Irving Berlin, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel :
In 1965, Frank Sinatra left his prints on Hollywood Boulevard :
On July 19, 1966, he married the actress Mia Farrow :
In 1974, at Kirk Douglas home, Palm Springs :
In 1984 : in court :
