Date of birth :1903, Brownsville, Texas.
Date of death : January 22nd 1965, Beverly Hills, California.
He was a chubby and talkative man who ran the entertainment agency Adelphi Theater Ticket Agency. He gave to Joe DiMaggio some tickets and obtained him the dates he wanted with music-hall pretty girls.
He was Joe DiMaggio's best friend.
He was known for his witty remarks.
With DiMaggion, they were regular clients at the New York restaurant Toots Shor's.
In 1953 he went with DiMaggio to Canada to visit Marilyn on the set of "River of No Return".
He also accompanied him on other sets and was present in August 1954, when Joe left vehemently the set of "There's No Business Like Show Business", shocked by the extremely small costume of the famous scene known under the name of "Heatwave".
He attended Marilyn's funeral :
