SPOTO Donald

Date of birth : June 28, 1941, New Rochelle, New York.

Practise : writer.

In 1993 he published a biography about Marilyn, to go against the "scandal sinister cyclorama". His in-depth researches led him to consult, for the first time, the personal documents of Marilyn's life key-characters, including Milton Greene and Inez Melson, and to make geonological researches done by the archivist Roy Turner.

He also interviewed 150 people.

Until today, his work is considered by many people as the best documented Marilyn's biography. Spoto denied the many conspiracy theories surrounding Marilyn's death.

He is also the author of the biographies of Alfred Hitchcock, Ingrid Bergman, James Dean, Marlene Dietrich, Laurence Olivier, Elizabeth Taylor and Princess Diana.
