Date of death : January 16th 1987, Yonkers, State of New York.

 

Practise: reporter and writer in Hollywood.

 

Story

He met Marilyn in July 1949, while she was in New York City for the promotion of "Love Happy" (1950).

He interviewed her at the Sherry-Netherland Hotel and wrote an article to make her known.

He published many columns about Marilyn, sometimes based on very useful informations coming from Marilyn herself.

He was one of her allies in the press, and she gave him some spicy gossips.

In 1961 he was the first to reveal the information about the imminent divorce of Marilyn from Arthur Miller.

He wrote several books about Hollywood, especially "The Show Business Nobody Knows" (1971), which turned out to be an important source of ancdotes for Marilyn's biographers.
