Story
He sold his first picture while he was still at the university.
From 1949 to 1957, he belonged to the photographers crew of the Los Angeles Times, and was free-lance photographer for Life magazine.
From 1957 to 1972, he had his own studio, with for main clients, the TV channels. At the same time, he exercised as free-lance photographer for artists, politicians and sportsmen.
It was him who took Simone Signoret in picture when she heard she had just won the Best Actress Academy Award for "Room at the Top", in 1960.
He died in 1993 of the Sweet's Syndrom, a blood disease, resulted from his atomic radiations exposure, when he took pictures of the atomic tests, for Life magazine.
