Las Vegas General Hospital

It was the largest adobe building in Vegas built in 1931 to handle the hospitalization needs for the workers. 

It remained a hospital into the 1960s, then in uses of doctor's offices, and as a drug rehabilitation center for a few years in the 1970s.

In the 1980s it was used as the Oslo House, a residential motel. In 1987, it was closed and placed on the National Register of the Historic Places, and destroyed by fire in February 1988.

In 1946 while she was waiting for the formalities of her divorce with Jim Dougherty, she was hospitalized there twice : for a severe buccal infection caused by the exctraction of a wisdom tooth, and for a measles, the day after her exit.
