Story
His father, Georges Masters was born in Yugoslavia and his mother Mary, in Romania.
He began coiffing Grosse Point women (Detroit) when he was 17. He worked in major salons in New York and Los Angeles. He became an international celebrity in 1966 when he made over Lynda Bird Johnson, daughter of Lyndon Johnson.
He made up Dustin Hoffman as a female in "Tootsie" in 1982. He frequently handled up the make up and hair of
Among his clients were Lauren Bacall, Sophia Loren, Diahann Carroll, Arlene Dahl, Bo Derek
(-), Marlene Dietrich. Also Rosalyn Carter and Nancy Reagan, and the Duchess of Windsor.
He was one of Marilyn's favourite hairdressers during her last years.
In February 1962 he went with Marilyn to Mexico (), where she gave a press conference de presse and bought some furniture.
He signed Marilyn's invoice at Saks .
On June 23, 1962, he did Marilyn's hairdo for the first day of the picture session with Bert Stern at the Bel Air
Hotel.
