He was the producer of the last unfinished movie of Marilyn, "Something's Got to Give".

He met Robert Goldstein in London.
He had been in London with his cousin Hannah Weinstein, a leader of the Komintern, president of the Arts, Sciences and Professions Council in New York City; she was the organizer of the Waldorf Peace Conference.
Following the witch hunt, she left the USA to London. Her production company became a haven for many refugees noted on the black list.
According to Fred Lawrence Guiles he had been hired because he was friend with Dr Greenson, Marilyn's psychoanalyst.
Even if some biographers ventured to notice that Weinstein, rather inexperienced (he had only produced one movie in 1961
"Tender is the Night", where Greenson was apparently technical
consultant), he didn't cut to bring Marilyn to heel, every producers
could hardly obtain from Marilyn what they wanted.
