The years spent with Ida and Albert Bolender were years with great security for Norma Jeane.
She was treated well and lacked nothing, despite the meager resources of the foster family.
Gladys' few visits were moments of fun time for Norma Jeane, but the real actors of the little girl's life were the Bolenders.
