Story
Her father, E.A.Olson was a train conductor, and the Olsen family lived in a working-class suburb of Duluth, at 2833, 3rd West Street.
She began her career as a young singer in the military band of Duluth, the Duluth Salvation Army Band.
She appeared in plays at her school and sang in a dance orchestra during the holidays.
According to her sister, Joyce Hadley, Dorothy thought that one day she would reach Hollywood.

They ran a posh club in Palm Springs, the Charcoal Charley's, where she sometimes performed.
After having searched miracle drugs in Mexico, she died on November 13, 1984, from a pancreatic cancer.
