RENO
Beginning of 1956 Arthur Miller settled in Pyramid Lake, 60 km from Reno, to satisfy the statutory requirements of residence, and divorce his first wife, Mary Slattery. He rented a cottage located next to the one of the writer Saul Bellow, who was there for the same reason, while he was working on hisnovel "Henderson The Rain King".
During his stay, Miller met the men who inspired him the characters of "The Misfits".
