He was a chubby and talkative man who ran the entertainment agency Adelphi Theater Ticket Agency. He gave to Joe DiMaggio some tickets and obtained him the dates he wanted with music-hall pretty girls.
He was Joe DiMaggio's best friend.
On July 6, 1929, he married Margaret Fiertl (born in 1906, Hungary).
He was known for his witty remarks.
With DiMaggio, they were regular clients at the New York restaurant Toots Shor's.
In 1953 he went with DiMaggio to Canada to visit Marilyn on the set of "River of No Return"
