It was thanks to her and her husband, Peter Lawford, that Marilyn met the Kennedys brothers.

In 1962 they saw each other a lot; Marilyn was often invited at their home.

They would have also seen each other in New York, on the occasion of a meeting between Marilyn and John Kennedy.

According to some versions, she would have given Marilyn the phone number of the ranch where Robert Kennedy spent the week-end of August 4 and 5, 1962 (John Bates).

She flew from the East Coast (she was in the Kennedy's property at Cape Cod) to attend Marilyn's funeral; but  Joe DiMaggio didn't accept her.
