Story
Her parents were Edgar Morath and Mathilde Wiesler, both scientists.
She grew up in the Nazi Germany where her 2 brothers were in Wermarcht (Hitler's Army), and also one of her uncles who was a general.
She had attended the Berlin University before filling her time with military obligations, working in a plane factory.After languages and Romance literature
studies in Berlin and Bucarest, she had, among other activities, the
one of radio and print media reporter, before, in 1952, turned towards phogtography she learned in London, besides
Simon Guttman, one of the father of modern photojournalism.
She was a member of the Magnum group in Paris and New York since 1953.

Professional trips led her in Europe(),
in Africa, in Orient, to the USA and USSR, in China, Japan,
Thailand and Cambodia. Her photo reportings were published in
prestigious magazines as Life, Paris-Match, Holiday and the Saturday

She worked for the Magnum agency and took pictures on the set of "The Misfits", in 1960.

John Huston and Arthur Miller
Few days after the announcement by Marilyn's lawyers of her divorce with Arthur Miller, Inge Morath met him
by chance on 5th Avenue, New York City. They fell in love. She married him on February , 1962.
Five weeks after Marilyn's death, on September 15, 1962, she gave birth, aged 39, to a daughter named
Rebecca ().
In November 1966, birth of their son Daniel, who suffered from the Down Syndrom.

Miller wrote the text of her book "In Russia" published in 1969.
During Fall 1963, Inge gave birth to Daniel, a boy affected by the Down Syndrome. Daniel would spend the rest of his life in an institution for mental retardation children. Inge would visit him almost every week, while Arthur would not much came; he wouldn't recognize and even mention his son publicly. Moreover, none of his official or professional biographies would mention Daniel's birth.
She continued photography while being a real housewife. She went to New York City twice a week to teach photography at the Cooper Union.
