Story

In 1948 he married Eileen Janice Buchholz (October 31, 1925, Wisconsin-January 15, 2019, California)

().

They had 2 children Nina Theresa (born November 21, 1952, Los Angeles) and John Marshall (born December 17, 1954, Los Angeles).

He was the first policeman arrived on Marilyn's death scene : On August 5, 1962, he received a call from Dr Hyman Engelberg who informed him about Marilyn's suicide at 4.15 AM; at 4.25 AM he arrived at Marilyn's home.

He found her lying on her belly, under a sheet; originally, Eunice Murray told him that the body had been discovered at midnight. When he asked why they had waiting so long before calling the police, Dr Ralph Greenson answered that they were waiting for the permission of the studio publicvity department.

After 30mn, Clemmons was replaced by an upper-grade police officer, then, according to Guiles, he called Jim Dougherty to inform him about Marilyn's death.

He was one of thoses who found Marilyn's death suspicious.

He belonged to an extrem right-wing group, The Police and Fire Research Organization, whose mission was to locate the Anti-American subsersive activities.

He assisted Frank A.Capell in the investigation which was the basis of a book in 1964, denouncing Robert Kennedy and a communist conspiracy as responsible of Marilyn's death.

He reported that, according to him, Marilyn was dead at least 8 hours before he was called on the scene.
For ages, he has defended the murder thesis and requested for an official investigation.
