"The Asphalt Jungle" (1950) by John Huston,in which Marilyn's played, was shot in the MGM studios.
It was Johnny Hyde who had persuaded John Huston ans the MGM managers to give a part to Marilyn.
She had also 2 minor appearences in "Right Cross" (1950) and "Hometown Story"
(1951), but
Dore Schary, the head of the production, didn't keep her longer,
thinking that she hadn't the necessary potential for becoming a
good actress.
Many years later, Pat Newcomb became vice president of the MGM.
