Story

His parents Habit Otash and Marion Jafone were born in Syria.

On June 27, 1946 he married Alice Jewel Cloyd (1925-February 25, 1955) (,).
They later divorced.

On January 6, 1950 he married Doris Houch (September 28, 1921, Idaho-December 14, 1965, California)

()(-).

They had a daughter Colleen Gabrielle Otash (born on July 12, 1949, Los Angeles)().

They divorced in 1952.

He worked with famous lawyers as F.Lee Bailey, Jerry Giesler and Melvin Belli.

He worked for many Hollywood stars, such as Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Anita Ekberg and Errol Flynn, as well as Mafia figures like Jimmy Hoffa.

Anthony Summers wrote that in 1954, Otash helped Sinatra to get rid of the accusations involving him in the "raid in the wrong door", as well as in the phone wiretaps in Marilyn's house, 5th Helena Drive, in 1961.

For the charges about the wiretaps, it has been said that he could have been in cahoots with the Mafia, either with Jimmy Hoffa, or with Joe DiMaggio.

Half-july 1962 Marilyn would have met him; she would have asked him to wiretap her phone; she ignored that her phone was already wiretapped.

Several years after Marilyn's death, he stated that Bernard Spindel had been hired to install some wiretaps at Marilyn and Peter Lawford. Spindel would have explained to him that Jimmy Hoffa looked for compromising informations about John Kennedy and Robert Kennedy.

Nothing proves that the taps had been asked by Jimmy Hoffa.

He retired in Cannes, south of France.
