Born William Earl Theisen


Date of birth : April 12, 1903, Denver, Colorado.

Date of death : Mai 1st, 1973, Los Angeles .


Story 

Educated in Chicago and Los Angeles. He entered the film industry in 1922 when he took a job with the Alexander Film Compan; he later left for the Consolidated Film Industries. In 1931 he began researching early cinema history and collecting artifacts under the auspices of the Los Angeles Museum and Society of Motion Pictures Engineers. He later became associate editor of "International Photographer", lectured at the University of South California, and became the West Coast representative for the Register Tribune Syndicate and a photographer for Look magazine.


On October 16, 1937 he married Lilian Bethel Pemberton (January 17, 1915, California-February 6, 2002,

California)().
